Q1. I want to sign up for the Enmark Savannah River Bridge Run. Where do I register?
A1. Simply click the link at the top of any page of our website, right below the title. This link will take you to our Eventbrite registration website where you can choose which race you would like to run and how many people to sign up. Online registration closes on December 3, 2014 at 11:59 p.m.
Q2. Do you offer discounts for team/ group registration?
A2. No. There is no discount available for groups who are registering.
Q3. Do you offer Military, Fire, or Police discounts for the Bridge Run?
A3. No. Prices are as advertised on our registration website.
Q4. Where can you pick-up or drop-off a Savannah River Bridge Run registration form?
A4. Fleet Feet Sports Savannah at 3405 Waters Avenue, Savannah, GA 31404. Printable forms are available in the “About” section of our website.
Q5. Is there a limited number of runners allowed at Savannah River Bridge Run?
A5. No. The Savannah River Bridge Run has had over 6,000 participants each of the past 3 years. The Double Pump race does have a cap at 900. The 2013 Bridge Run was the first time that the Double Pump sold out at 900. If you want to be part of the Double Pump, we recommend registering early to avoid being left out.
Race Change / Refund Questions:
Q6. I registered for the Savannah River Bridge Run but now can’t participate. Can I receive a refund?
A6. Sorry but unfortunately, we can’t issue refunds for Savannah River Bridge Run. If you can’t make it to the run you can still pickup your packet and Bridge Run t-shirt.
Q7. I registered but now I can’t participate, can I transfer my registration to someone else?
A7. Yes, you can transfer your entry to another person by logging in to www.eventbrite.com and self-editing your profile. Please note that transfers will not be accepted the week of the event.
Q8. I want to change to a different race from what I originally registered for. How do I change that?
A8. You can complete a race transfer by logging in to www.eventbrite.com and clicking “Race Transfer” on your ticket. The Eventbrite website will guide you through the change. Please note that race transfers will not be accepted the week of the event.
Q9. When and where can you pick-up your race number and timing chip?
A9. At the EXPO on December 5, 2014 at the Savannah Civic Center from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Q10. Can someone else pickup my race packet for me?
A10. Yes, they are allowed to pick up your packet for you. They will need a copy of your confirmation email, or a copy of your driver’s license in order to pick it up.
Q11. What do I need to bring with me to pick up my packet?
A11. You will need your confirmation email as well as an ID. Anyone under the age of 18 is not required to show ID as long they have the confirmation email.
Q12. What is included with my Savannah River Bridge Run Registration?
A12. Participants receive a custom Savannah River Bridge Run t-shirt, race program, and race bib. Each participant will receive an email invitation to our Virtual Race Bag. Finishers of the Double Pump will receive an exclusive Double Pump Finisher’s medal.
Q13. Is the event timed?
A13. Savannah River Bridge Run uses Event-Tech for all timing needs. Using Event-Tech’s ChampionChip, runners are given precise accuracy of their time. Runners and walkers will be able to view their results on Event-Tech’s website after the race at http://event-tech.com/results/.
Q14. Are walkers are welcome at Savannah River Bridge Run?
A14. Of course, walkers are welcome at the Savannah River Bridge Run! We do ask that walkers please start in the “Walkers” zone at the start line.
Q15. Are strollers allowed at Savannah River Bridge Run?
A15. Yes strollers are welcome. We just ask that you please start at the back of the field for everyone’s safety. For the 5K, walking strollers are allowed, but must be in the “Walking” lane at the start line. Jogging strollers will be allowed at both the 5K and the 10K.
Q16. Are dogs allowed at Savannah River Bridge Run?
A16. No dogs are allowed at Savannah River Bridge Run.
Q17. Is there an age limit?
A17. No, our age groups range from 9 and Under to 80 and Older.
Q18. Can I bring my iPod?
A18. Yes, the Savannah River Bridge Run currently allows you to use iPods.
Q19. How can you get back to Hutchison Island after the 5K?
A19. The event provides free trolley and water ferry transportation back to Hutchison Island until noon. A full breakdown of our transportation plan is on our website.
Q20. Is there space for family members to watch the race?
A20. Yes, spectators are welcome to watch the race near the finish line at the Savannah Civic Center.
